Walther and Sierra

Walther Arms has announced an unusual promotion ideal for firearm enthusiasts as the holiday shopping season quickly approaches. Purchase a new Walther PDP handgun from Oct. 30 to Dec. 15, 2023, and qualifying consumers will receive 100 rounds of Sierra 124-grain hollow point ammunition. This isn’t run-of -mill ammo you can find on dealer shelves or online, either—at least not yet.

Your firing line will likely attract attention when you show up at the range to sight in with that new PDP and never-seen-before fodder. Whether you're a dedicated enthusiast, seeking top-tier accuracy, or a new shooter, this promotion seamlessly combines the precision of the Walther brand with the excellence of Sierra ammunition.

The PDP is Walther’s top-of-the line when it comes to personal defense and seven versions are currently available. Each are chambered in 9 mm NATO, ship from the factory ready for optic mounting and barrel lengths are 4, 4.5 or 5 inches. Two have threaded barrels. Magazine capacity is either 15 or 18 rounds, depending on model.

As for performance and reliability, Shooting Illustrated’s Daniel T. McElrath tested one of the striker-fired, semi-automatics shortly after they hit the market. There were no failures to feed or stoppages during his lengthy firing-line protocol. He concluded, “All told, Walther’s greatest achievement with the PDP may be this: It is (for me) the most complete out-of-the-box, striker-fired pistol available at anywhere near the price.”

This special promotion excludes all law enforcement models and consumers who reside in New York, California, Maine, Massachusetts, Alaksa, Hawaii, Illinois Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey and the District of Columbia are unable to participate. To qualify, new PDP owners must submit a valid receipt showing they purchased a model within the giveaway dates/time frame (between 10/30/2023 and 12/15/2023) and submit a picture of the label on the box showing the serial number on or before January 15, 2024. Ammunition redemption will take two to five weeks for processing and handling.

Only one redemption per serial number is allowed. Multiple redemptions will be allowed to consumers who purchase multiple pistols. Dealers are encouraged to submit a redemption for their consumers if assistance is needed. Consumers must be over the age of 18 to participate, and follow all state, local and federal regulations. Walther Arms reserves the right to modify, change, deny or discontinue this rebate at any time for any reason.

All redemptions can be submitted on this webpage.
