One of the many exciting new pistols introduced by SIG Sauer is the new P220 line in 10 mm. Four new pistols have been introduced, three single action only models and one traditional single action/double action pistol.

I had the opportunity to shoot the Stainless Elite P220 at SIG's range day, and it was every bit as pleasant and accurate as I expected. The large-frame, all-metal construction really helps with the 10 mm impulse, and the accuracy is excellent.

All models feature a 5-inch barrel, Elite beavertail, and black G10 grips. A Hunter Ready model with SIG's new Romeo mini-red-dot sight is available in addition to the Stainless Elite, Stainless Elite Nitron and Match Elite Reverse models.

MSRP: $1,422, Hunter Ready model $1,713.
