When it comes to personal defense, it is always a good idea to have a backup option. Sometimes, people resort to carrying multiple firearms and/or multiple knives. While this is a good idea, it can be cumbersome and tiresome to do every day. The best backup tool is the one that's always there, and that's the idea behind the Tactical Puncher from Sheriff of Baghdad.

The Tactical Puncher is a small, lightweight blade that is handmade entirely from G10 wood laminate. Measuring 4.4 inches long with a 2.8-inch blade, it is shaped in a way that allows users to wrap their hands around the handle, forming a fist. The blade protrudes from between the middle and ring fingers, forming a potentially lethal striking implement that works naturally with a user's defensive punching instincts.

The Puncher's G10 construction means that the blade is completely impervious to the elements, unlike many knife blades. This allows the tool to be stored anywhere for any length of time, making it a handy option for a secondary or even a tertiary backup tool that requires very little thought and maintenance. In addition, the 1.2-ounce weight means that this blade disappears anywhere on a wearer's body.

As an added touch, SOB offers laser engraving on the Tactical Puncher, allowing users to add a custom touch to their backup tool. The SOB Tactical Puncher comes with a Kydex sheath and is available in black, desert tan or gray. The unit retails at a suggested price of $59.99.
