Remington Arms Company has agreed to donate a portion of its sales of 200th anniversary limited edition guns to the National Rifle Association, up to $50,000. The donation program will run until Dec. 31, 2016.

Remington, in its 200th anniversary celebration, developed a line of limited edition guns that represent some of the best offerings in the company's history. The line includes the Model 700, Model 7600, Model 870, Model 1100 and the Model 1911 R1.

The limited edition engraved firearms include commemorative engraving that depicts founder Eliphalet Remington heading into the woods with his first barrel. The engraving itself is finished with 24-karat gold.

In addition, these guns will feature special serial numbers, special packaging and a medallion engraved in the grip. Remington's limited edition long guns will also feature C-grade American walnut stocks with fleur de lis checkering.

Only 2,016 of each model will be produced in this limited edition run. The Model 700 ADL retails at a suggested price of $2,399. The pump-action Model 7600 retails for $1,999. The Model 870 sells for $1,499, while the semi-auto Model 1100 retails for $1,999. The Model 1911 R1 Limited Edition retails for $1,649.
