Leupold has announced the addition of a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) model to the popular DeltaPoint Pro reflex sight line. The DeltaPoint Pro delivers an incredibly wide field-of-view and crystal-clear glass that has dominated its competition. In 2019 the United States Marshals Service selected the optic for its duty firearms.

The FDE model delivers the same high-quality performance that DeltaPoint Pro owners have come to expect, but custom orders are no longer required to match it with FDE handguns and rifles. The optic weighs only 1.95 ounces, is 60-MOA adjustable for both windage and elevation and measures 1.3 inches in both height and width. The company’s Motion Sensor Technology automatically activates the unit when the gun is picked up, but it powers down after five minutes of inactivity to maximize battery life. A single CR 2032 cell runs the DeltaPoint.

“The DP Pro was built from the ground up to deliver the unparalleled performance that professionals and competitive shooters require—it’s the fastest, toughest red-dot sight in the world,” said Tom Moyle, product line manager for Leupold. “Adding the FDE model rounds out the entire line and offers shooters a product that they’ve long been asking for.”

The DeltaPoint Pro is designed for those who don’t just demand speed, but depend on it. Although it is a staple to professionals and self-defense practitioners, its attributes also make it perfect for hunters who need to make quick shots at close ranges. Whether on the battlefield, at the range or hunting dangerous game, the DeltaPoint Pro takes on whatever you dish out. It delivers true-to-life color consistency and premium edge-to-edge lens clarity with Leupold’s Twilight Max Red Dot System and disperses recoil energy for unrivaled durability with an ultra-lightweight construction.

The new DeltaPoint Pro FDE features a 2.5-MOA dot. Waterproof, fogproof and backed by the company’s lifetime warranty, it is designed, machined and assembled in Leupold’s Beaverton, OR factory.
