Originally available to the U.S. public in pistol form, CZ-USA introduced the new Bren 2 Ms Carbine at the 2020 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

The Bren 2 Ms Carbine features a 16.5-inch barrel and an adjustable, folding stock. The rifle weighs 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and has an overall length of 35.6 inches. The Bren 2 remains lightweight thanks to an aluminum upper and lower made of carbon fiber composite. The modular fore-end can be changed to different lengths or styles based on shooter preference.

Operating on a short-stroke gas piston system, the Bren 2 utilizes a return spring contained within the action. Lacking a buffer tube, the Bren 2 has a folding stock that cuts the overall length when folded to 28 inches, making it easier to transport or store. Likewise, a non-reciprocating charging handle remains in the forward position until in use and is swappable from side to side. The Bren 2 also utilizes an AR-style bolt catch/release system that is mirrored on both sides of the firearm. There is also a catch/release located at the front of the trigger guard.

The Bren 2 Ms Carbine utilizes either a 10- or 30-round magazine, features semi-automatic operation, and comes with an ambidextrous manual safety. MSRP is $1,999.
