In 2017, Nighthawk Custom collaborated with Agency Arms, Railscales, Cerakote Gun Coatings and Hillbilly 223 to develop the Agent 1 pistol. The popularity and success of this particular handgun led the company to continue the partnership between all five manufacturers with the release of the new Nighthawk Custom Agent 2 pistol.

One of the stand-out details on the gun is its highly customized slide design, inspired by the Urban Combat slide pioneered by Agency Arms. Key areas of the pistol were machined with an eye toward practicality and aesthetic appeal.

The slide features a faceted design that shaves excess weight from the gun and is machined with the company's DNA Collector cocking serrations, providing users with an extra-aggressive texture that ensures complete control over slide manipulation. The slide also incorporates side windows and ships with enhanced fiber-optic sights, including a tactical-ledge rear sight from Heinie that allows for racking off a belt or other flat surface.

On the frame of the Nighthawk Custom Agent 2 pistol, consumers will find a machined accessory rail that allows for the attachment of light and laser accessories. In addition to the versatility offered by the accessory rail, usability and performance are also enhanced through the inclusion of the company's one-piece magazine well that allows for rapid reloading. Other features on the slide include aggressively-textured controls, particularly the barrel bushing, grip safety, thumb safety and slide stop.

Railscales contributed to the unique, stand-out look of the Agent 2 with the development of tailor-made G10 handgun grips. The grips are machined as thin as possible, allowing for a thinner, carry-capable profile and also providing a smaller grip circumference for small-handed shooters. The grips also incorporate a deeper scallop behind the magazine release, allowing for easier manipulation without shifting shooting grip.

Finally, the pistol features an upgraded Flat Faced Trigger, a newly designed 1911 trigger from Agency Arms. The Nighthawk Custom Agent 2 is available in 9 mm and .45 ACP and sells at a suggested retail price of $4,495.
