Medical personnel qualify for the SilencerCo Service Proven Equipment (SPEQ) purchase program through May 31. The company expanded the list of those who qualify to recognize and thank healthcare professionals for their effort, support and selfless dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic.

All that’s required to purchase one of the company’s products with the special discount is a valid hospital ID or a copy of a medical license. Orders for the company’s gear must be submitted by a SilencerCo SPEQ dealer by May 31, 2020. A full list of the company’s SPEQ dealers is available online.

SilencerCo launched its SPEQ program in 2015 as a way to thank those who have served. The effort continues to offer a special discount to current and retired military, law enforcement and first responders. It also includes Federal Flight Deck Officers and armed private security.

The company produces a variety of suppressors that have caught on quickly in the industry and pushes the boundaries of traditional design. It introduced the first non-round version, the Osprey, and the only commercially available, fully modular suppressor that exists today—the Salvo 12.

More recently its Maxim 9, an integrally suppressed pistol that is holsterable, has caught the attention of enthusiasts. At the 2020 SHOT Show, Shooting Illustrated got a look at some of the company’s latest, including the Omega 36M, a modular, two-piece design with a welded core both fore and aft.

SilencerCo was established in 2008, in West Valley, UT. It began in a garage, but has grown and flourished for the past dozen years bringing products to the market that improve sound reduction levels, durability and longevity, form and function, ease of use and maintenance in new and innovative ways. It is now one of the most recognized names in the suppressor industry.
