Kahr Firearms Group launched its 2019 Fallen Officer Program, a continuation of an effort introduced by the company in 2018 to honor fallen law-enforcement officers. Through the project, Kahr Arms will donate a Thin Blue Line model PM9 customized with the fallen officer’s name on the side of the slide, as well as his or her badge number and “end of watch” date engraved on the top of the slide. The gun can then be used to raise money for the family or remain with it as a keepsake.

Applications to honor the officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty this year are available by e-mailing [email protected]. The form may be submitted by the law enforcement department or by family or friends of the fallen officer. To request an application, e-mail [email protected].

“Kahr Firearms Group has made it a priority to continue to show support to the brave law enforcement officers who serve and protect us and their families,” said Jodi DePorter, Kahr Firearms Group director of marketing. “We are proud to offer the Kahr Arms Fallen Officer Program again this year in an effort to help the families of those officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.”

The special-edition Thin Blue Line PM9 was introduced by the company last year to honor the men and women of law enforcement who guard the “thin blue line” between a lawful and lawless society. They place their lives at risk to protect their communities from.

Kahr Firearms Group and Outlaw Ordnance—based out of West Monroe, LA—have partnered on the “Thin Blue Line” PM9 design concept. The special pistol’s slide is encircled by a blue line atop a durable Armor Black Cerakote finish. All other exposed metal parts are blacked out. It’s equipped with TruGlo Tactical Night Sights and comes with two flush-mount six-round magazines and one, extended seven-round version.
