Welcome to another episode of "I Carry!" Today, I'm trying something different. I'm in the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, at SHOT Show 2020 with a special "I Carry" Spotlight. We're going to be talking to a number of firearm manufacturers about new pistols each is offering for concealed carry, new for 2020.

The firearms to be discussed are the following:

FN America
FN509 Compact MRD
FN509 Midsize MRD

Smith & Wesson
M&P9 Shield M2.0 EZ
M&P9 Performance Center M2.0 CORE
M&P9 M2.0 Subcompact

SIG Sauer
P320X Compact RXP with Romeo1Pro
P365 XL Romeo Zero
P365 SAS
P210 Carry

Ruger
LCP II in .22 LR
Security 9 Pro
Security 9 Pro Compact

Springfield Armory
XD-M Elite 3.8
Hellcat
Ronin Operator 1911 4.25

Mossberg
MC2c

That's sixteen new pistols for concealed carry, and I've barely scratched the surface on the new guns released at SHOT Show 2020. It's interesting to note that out of these new guns, nearly half either come equipped with mini-red dots or are optics-ready to add a red-dot sight later. Walking the show floor here at the Sands, it is clear that red-dot-equipped handguns are certainly popular, and with the large number of options available there's a good chance there's a setup too for your needs.

We've covered a wide number of guns at Industry Day at the Range in video format, in news articles on new guns and also in Editor's Picks from the show floor. It's nearly impossible for us to cover everything released at SHOT Show in one sitting, so keep an eye on the pages and website of Shooting Illustrated for more new pistols perfect for your EDC needs.
