The Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading is now available in app form from both the Apple and Android stores.

Just like its hardcover and eBook cousins, the new Hornady reloading app has the same comprehensive and trusted reloading reference that users have been counting on for decades. The new app provides everyone from the novice to the seasoned hand loader everything needed to successfully reload a wide variety of handgun and rifle cartridges.

The free downloadable version includes hundreds of pages of reloading information, bullet guides, tips and techniques, along with limited free data on recent offerings like the 6 mm Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC cartridges. Reloaders will then pay only for the information they want and need, keeping all your vital information ready for use at a moment’s notice. Reloading information is available for download in three different ways: à la carte, purchasing the entire handbook or subscription-based.

The à la carte option allows users to purchase reloading information on a single cartridge for 99 cents apiece. If a user decides they need to purchase the entire handbook, the entire 10th edition Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading is available on the app for $19.99.

Finally, the subscription option is set up so users pay $19.99 per year for full access to the 10th Edition data, plus all the new data developed for the next edition and automatic updates as more data is developed. In addition to this, subscribers will receive a printed edition of the 11th Edition of the Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading when it is released next year.

The app features more than 200 calibers with a variety of loads using Hornady bullets, and velocity and powder charts are included with each cartridge for easy reference. Reloaders will find a full-featured lineup of new powders including Power Pro 2000 MR, IMR4451 and 7977, CFE Pistol, BE-86, Reloader 23, 26, 33 and 50, Accurate LT-30 and 32 and other offerings from Shooters World. The range of information for popular, established powders such as Reloader 17, Superformance and LeverEvolution have also been expanded inside the app.
