Henry Marine Corps Rifle

The United States Marine Corps was established on Nov. 10, 1775, when the Second Continental Congress authorized two battalions of Marines to serve as a naval infantry force. In celebration of the USMC’s 250th Anniversary, Henry Repeating Arms has introduced the Spirit of the Corps Tribute Edition Rifle. The highly embellished collectible lever-action—built on the company’s award-winning Golden Boy platform—honors the history, valor and unwavering commitment of the men and women who joined the Marines since its founding.

“For 250 years, the United States Marine Corps has stood as an unwavering symbol of bravery, sacrifice for the greater good and selfless dedication to our country,” said Anthony Imperato, founder and CEO of Henry Repeating Arms. “We owe an unpayable debt to those who have worn the Eagle, Globe and Anchor, and this rifle is our way of saying ‘thank you.’ This rifle is a tribute to a milestone anniversary in our nation’s history, but even more so, it is a salute to every Marine who has ever answered the call to serve.”

The Semper Fi & America’s Fund—a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance and lifetime support to critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans and military families—will receive a portion of the proceeds from each rifle sold. Heny is also making a $25,000 donation in memory of the fallen Marines who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation and all Devil Dogs, past and present.

Tribute to the Indomitable Spirit

For 250 years the USMC has been the tip of America’s spear in conflicts around the world. That legacy is captured with a collage of detailed artwork and engravings on the new Spirit of the Corps Tribute Edition Rifle.

Vignette depictions from the Marine Corps’ modern era on the right side of the rifle’s receiver include a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle, a V-22 Osprey aircraft, and the first words of the Marines’ Hymn, “From the halls of Montezuma.” On its left the hymn continues with “To the shores of Tripoli,” along with portrayals of Marines from key conflicts throughout history. They include World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War and the Revolutionary War’s Continental Marines. Each key detail is 24-karat gold-plated that stands out elegantly atop a background of polished nickel plating.

The rifle’s American walnut buttstock features the iconic image of the American flag raised by Marines atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945. The flag is hand-painted in red, white and blue.

The fore-end, also walnut, wears the words, “In the air, on land, and sea.” The rimfire rifle is chambered for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle and has an MSRP of $1,350.
