The promotion is designed to encourage new shooters to invest in their first firearm and introduce value-driven customers to the Springfield Armory brand.

The promotion gives customers the opportunity to purchase an XD 4-inch Service Model or XD 3-inch Sub-Compact Model at a $339 MSRP. Customers who buy the XD as part of the Defender Series package will receive an invitation to join The Defenders, a community of enthusiasts who will receive Springfield Armory communication including exclusive offers, giveaways and discounts.

“We are thrilled to offer a special package to encourage first-time buyers into the market,” said Springfield Armory CEO Dennis Reese. “By offering our XD 4” Service Model, an excellent introductory firearm for new shooters, we hope to promote a passion for shooting.”
