European American Armory has just unveiled the new Girsan Witness 2311 Brat, a compact, double-stack 1911-style pistol designed specifically for everyday carry.
Manufactured by Girsan in Turkey, the Witness 2311 Brat features an Officer-size frame, 3.4-inch barrel and incorporates all the essential elements that 1911 enthusiasts appreciate. The pistol comes equipped with ambidextrous safeties, Novak-cut iron sights, an extended beavertail grip safety, an extended magazine well and a skeletonized trigger. In addition to these features, European American Armory is offering the new 2311 Brat in either 9mm or .45 ACP, both with double stack magazines for extra capacity. The 9mm version has a standard magazine capacity of 17 rounds and the .45 ACP models can hold 11 rounds.
