Zero Tech Optics introduced a new enclosed reflex sight this year, the Zero Tech HALO TRAE 28. This new electronic red dot sight has a name that is an acronym which stands for Heavy duty Aspherical Lens Optic. As you can guess, this optic makes use of aspherical lens, which has a different profile than what’s found on a standard lens. In the case of a reflex sight, an aspheric lens allows for a crisper picture when looking through the lens from any other perspective besides the true optical center; a feature that makes a lot of sense on a slide mounted electronic red dot sight. An enclosed emitter unit, the new Zero Tech HALO TRAE 28 has a top loading battery tray that uses a standard CR 2032 coin battery and uses the popular Shield RMSc footprint.

The Zero Tech HALO TRAE 28’s reticle consists of a 3 MOA dot with ten different adjustable brightness settings. The sight is waterproof, shockproof and fog proof for added reliability and is also equipped with an auto on and auto off feature to save battery when not in use.
