Zeiss Optics has just unveiled the new DTI 6 thermal imaging handheld camera meant for use in low light to dark hunting applications. Specifically designed for use in open fields in the dark, the new Zeiss DTI 6 can see up to 2000 meters away and has a 3x optical zoom. The heart of the new DTI 6 is the high contrast delivering ZSIP Pro (Zeiss Smart Image Processing) algorithm, which puts out clear images via a 640x480 sensor with a 12 micron pixel pitch, 1024 x 720 AMOLED display. All this technology adds up to rich details that are easily seen under difficult conditions and low thermal contrast.

The specially developed eyepiece was designed to be perfectly compatible with the screen, which offers an immersive viewing experience, even for people who wear glasses.”
