R3D 2.0 Tritium Night Sights for 1911

XS Sights is now offering its popular R3D 2.0 Tritium Night Sights for Colt, Kimber, and Springfield Armory 1911-style pistols.

The new second-generation R3D 2.0 self-defense sights are designed for improved speed and accuracy in any light.  To accomplish this goal, they are brighter, stronger and easier to install than the original R3D models. The sights feature a notch and post design with two rear tritium dots and a high-contrast green dual-illuminated Glow Dot front sight that is wider than most front sights on the market, giving you an easy-to-see sight that is designed to improve your shooting.

The Glow Dot’s self-luminous tritium vile glows in low or no light for 12 years and is surrounded by XS’s proprietary photoluminescent dot material that absorbs ambient light to glow in low light. This makes the front sight brighter than the two rear tritium dots and, combined with the wide notch, provides more visible indexing for increased precision and accuracy.

“There has been high demand for our new R3D 2.0 sights for 1911s, and we’re happy to now offer these kits for Colt, Kimber, and Springfield Armory models,” said Jeff King, Marketing Manager, XS Sights. “The overall design and high visibility of R3D 2.0 sights give 1911 owners an edge in high-stress, self-defense situations by helping them get on target faster and more accurately when every second counts.”

These new R3D 2.0 Tritium Night Sights work with 5 inch Government model Colt 1911’s with fixed rear sights, 5 inch Custom and Ultra Carry Kimber 1911s and 5 inch Government, TRP and Operator 1911s from Springfield Armory.

Retail Price for the sights is $148.99, and more information on this product and other items from XS Sights is available at xssights.com.
