XS Sights is now offering its R3D 2.0 hybrid pistol night sights to fit handguns manufactured by Heckler & Koch. The pistol models now covered are the HK VP9 series, HK P30 series, HK 45 series and HK 45C series.

XS Sights R3D 2.0 iron sights are designed around defensive shooting. They are high-contrast sights that are either available with an orange or green front sight that has a centrally placed tritium vial surrounded by a large ring of photoluminescent material. This material is designed to “catch” all levels of ambient light and emit back to the shooter. As a result, the sights light up as much as possible based on the level of ambient lighting present. If that is not sufficient, the tritium vials kick in when there is little to no light to “activate” the green or orange photoluminescent ring. All XS Sights rear sight pairs in the R3D 2.0 series have two smaller tritium vials along with a square rear sight notch and a serrated rear sight face. In the darkest conditions, the two smallest rear sight tritium vials help guide the shooter’s eye to the front sight without being a big distraction.

“We have improved the R3D night sights to enhance firearm owners’ shooting experience, and that includes an even easier installation process,” said Addison Monroe, Digital Marketing Manager, XS Sights. “The new EasyPress features in these second-generation sights eliminate the need for filing and hammering and reduce the force needed for installation by up to 50 percent.”

XS Sights offers their R3D 2.0 Sights in both standard sizes for all handgun models listed above, and for the HK VP9 OR (Optics Ready) variant, they also offer a suppressor height R3D 2.0 Night Sight set. Retail pricing for standard height sights starts at $132 and $143 for the taller suppressor height sights. Please visit to learn more or order.
