Wilson Combat releases its new SFT9 pistol, a double-stack 9mm handgun that features a unique mix of classic, double-stack design combined with modern reliability upgrades that improve handling and shooting performance. Wilson Combat’s new SFT9 brings generous capacity and excellent shootability to shooters of all skill levels.

The foundation of the SFT9 begins as a solid block of the T6-7075 aluminum. This block is then precision-machined on computer-controlled machining centers, resulting in the finished, one-piece solid frame. This solid-frame design offer superior durability to other designs, boasting a modular grip/frame construction and a thinner width of only 1.155 inches. The reduced diameter of the Wilson Combat Solid Frame along with the TRAK grip-strap texture helps control felt recoil and reduces muzzle flip during rapid fire.

The Commander-length slide and barrel are precisely machined in-house at the Wilson Combat facility in Berryville, AR, where the company’s gunsmiths hand fit each 4.25-inch, match-grade, bushing-style barrel for superlative performance and duraility. Each gun is stringently tested before leaving the Wilson Combat facility to ensure that it meets Wilson Combat’s demanding reliability and accuracy standards. The end result is the SFT9, an easy-to-shoot handgun that is ready for high-round-count range sessions in addition to everyday defensive carry.

Wilson Combat’s proprietary TRAK grip texture on the front and rear edges of the grip frame offers a non-abrasive, comfortable grip with no sharp edges that could potentially snag on cover garments. The stainless steel slide sports a corrosion-resistant DLC (Diamond-like-Carbon) physical vapor-deposition finish that is strongly resistant to scratches and nicks. The classic Commander slide profile features dovetail-mounted front and rear sights and wide cocking serrations for enhanced traction when charging the pistol.

MSRP on the SFT9 line of pistols starts at $3,095. For more information on the new SFT9 from Wilson Combat, visit wilsoncombat.com.
