Walther Arms is returning the iconic PP (Polizeipistole) to its lineup. The PP is a well-known and historic pistol, and now Walther is now re-introducing with modern enhancements that honor its storied past while delivering the reliability and performance expected by today’s gun owner.

First introduced in 1929, the Walther PP quickly became a favorite among law enforcement and civilian shooters alike for its design, comfortable handling and reliable performance. The new Walther PP stays true to the original's aesthetic and mechanical design, while incorporating updated features to meet the demands of modern shooters.

The Walther PP is chambered in both .380 ACP and .32 ACP, offering shooters the choice of two classic calibers that are useable for personal defense and recreational shooting. Retaining the elegant lines and ergonomic feel that made the original PP so popular, the new version features upgraded materials and finishes for greater durability and reliability.

Just like the original, the new Walther PP features a fixed-barrel, blowback-operated design to deliver accuracy and a smooth shooting experience. This design was first patented by Carl Walther and remains a hallmark of the PP series.

The new Walther PP incorporates a rotating safety/decocker mechanism which allows the shooter to safely de-cock the pistol without pulling the trigger, enhancing overall safety and confidence.

"We are incredibly excited to bring back the Walther PP, a firearm that holds a special place in the history of our company and in the hearts of shooters worldwide," said Rob McCanna, President and CEO of Walther Arms, Inc. "This new version of the PP honors its classic design while incorporating modern advancements that make it a truly exceptional firearm for today’s shooters. Whether for personal defense, collection, or historical appreciation, the Walther PP offers unmatched quality, precision, and performance."

The new Walther PP is available in either black or stainless-steel models and comes chambered in either .32 ACP or .380 ACP. MSRP for all these versions is $969 and for more information about the Walther PP and other Walther products, visit waltherarms.com.
