The new VSB holster is the premier offering of the Executive Select series from Raven Concealment Systems. This new holster is made using the latest, high-strength additive manufacturing methods and enables Raven Concealment to design an AIWB (appendix-inside-the-waistband) holster that is different from other products on the market.
The body of the VSB is an innovative design that positions your handgun for maximum concealment and quick access, while completely protecting your body from the hard edges and unforgiving contours on the slide and frame of your firearm. The result is a holster that has a unique aesthetic and is comfortable to carry.
Inside the holster body are two cavities: one for your firearm, and one for a spare magazine. The VSB’s innovative “piggyback” configuration allows you to quickly don your entire defensive load-out in one quick motion and to carry both items in a form factor that is significantly smaller than a traditional “sidecar”-style holster. In fact, the VSB carries a slimline gun and spare magazine in a space barely larger than an AIWB holster for a duty-sized firearm by itself.
The holster cavity is fitted to your handgun, providing a consistent ‘click’ to let you know your firearm is secured, while the adjustable, passive retention allows you to choose the ideal amount of resistance for your draw-stroke. The magazine cavity accommodates standard factory magazines as well as higher-capacity magazines and magazines with extended base pads. The design of the carrier allows you to decide whether you want your spare magazine oriented with the rounds pointing toward the firearm to maximize speed-of-access, or pointing away from the firearm to maximize concealability. In addition to this, the magazine cavity has magnetic retention which provides consistent and silent security to ensure your magazine stays put until you need it and withdraws quickly when you do.
The VSB holster provides numerous mounting options for belt attachments and is compatible with the full suite of RCS IWB options, as well as numerous aftermarket overhooks. The attachment points on the holster also let you customize the ride height and cant to suit your body-type and wardrobe.
