Berm Tanto

True Knives has just launched a new full size rugged folding knife that is easy on the wallet: the new BERM Tanto Flipper Knife.

True Knives outfitted this folding knife with a 3.5-inch Americanized tanto blade built from 7CrMoV stainless steel enhanced with a titanium nitride coating for extra corrosion resistance and additional durability in field conditions. The entire spine of the knife features jimping providing a secure place for the cutting hand’s thumb while working with the knife. A liner lock is used to lock the blade into the grip, while the grip itself has G10 panels, a popular resin based composite material known for its strength and durability. Originally used in electronics and motherboard manufacturing, G10 has established itself as a great medium for hard-use outdoor products. The BERM Tanto Flipper Knife’s pivoting mechanism is elegant in its simplicity as it makes use of a caged ball bearing which allows smooth rotation whenever the blade is opened or closed.

  • Top-end flipping lever
