Templar Paladin

Templar Knives has just unveiled the Paladin liner lock folding knife. This new folding knife was created to serve as a general-purpose blade and can tackle the vast majority of cutting tasks with either of its offered blade profiles: A drop point blade or and Americanized tanto, the latter of which can be purchased with either a straight or serrated blade. Instead of having thumb studs to assist the opening of the knife to this, the Paladin has a small spine that protrudes from the back of the handle which can also be flipped by the opening hand’s thumb. When in the fully open and locked position for cutting tasks, this spine converges with a radiusing of the micarta handle and together they make up a choil. The choil not only helps keep the user’s hand safe by preventing the hand from accidentally sliding forward and getting cut by the blade, but also improves the handling and ergonomics of the knife.

“The Paladin is a long time coming,” said Shannon Cauble, Chief Executive Officer at Templar Knife. “Our OTF’s certainly are our flagship product, but with some limitations of where we can sell them, the Paladin allots us the opportunity to expand our reach to retailers and consumers alike. Most importantly, a manual folder has been requested for years, and we’ve finally developed one that we’re proud to put our name on.”

All Paladin knife trims and colors (black, green, coyote) have a retail price of $99.99 and feature Templar Knives’ limited lifetime warranty. To learn more about the new Paladin or other knives offered by Templar Knives, visit templarknife.com.
