Taurus 856 Executive Grade Revolver
Taurus is launching the new 856 Executive Grade revolver, the first in a new series of handguns for the discerning revolver enthusiast. The small frame, smooth operation, and easy-to-conceal profile of the 856 has made it favorite of revolver fans who are want a dependable EDC handgun. The 856 Executive Grade takes those features and elevates them to another level.
The 856 Executive Grade features all-stainless-steel construction with a hand-polished satin stainless steel finish and premium Altamont walnut grips. The stainless steel provides natural corrosion resistance, and the checkered panels and contoured profile of the grip allow for positive control in stressful conditions and easy management of .38 Special +P defense cartridges.
The 856 Executive Grade also has smoothed and chamfered cylinder chambers, allowing cartridges to slip easily into the cylinder and prevents the case mouths from getting caught on the chamber edge, a very useful feature with loading and reloading in stressful situations.
Taurus didn't forget that the trigger and the action are the heart of a truly great revolver. Each 856 Executive Grade is hand-tuned to deliver a smooth trigger pull and a sear break that is crisp and predictable.
The revolver also sports a 3-inch barrel and a concealed hammer for a longer sight radius and improved velocity when compared to revolvers with a 2-inch barrel and also features a spurless hammer that won’t snag or hang up when drawing from deep concealment.
For transportation convenience, each revolver is shipped in a lock-compatible Pelican Vault hard case, providing maximum impact resistance and weather protection for your 856 Executive Grade.
