Built with a housing made from impact-resistant nylon polymer, the Streamlight PolyTac X flashlight is designed for durability. The housing surface features integrated texturing that allows for a secure grip in all weather conditions, and the design also ensures a lightweight, easy-to-carry product that measures only 5.46 inches long and weighs only 4.34 ounces. The light is IPX7-rated for waterproof operation at depths of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes and has been tested to withstand drops from up to 3 meters.
One of the added flexibility features on the PolyTac X is the use of its dual-fuel power system that allows owners to power the light from multiple battery sources. The light is compatible with the company's 18650 rechargeable battery or can be used with two CR123 batteries.
