Stoeger recently expanded its STR-9 pistol line with the Compact variant, continuing the tradition of making quality firearms at an affordable price. The STR-9 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9 mm and represents an all-around solution to everyday concealed carry and home defense. The compact model is available with a 13-round magazine and for those who live in capacity-restrictive states, a 10-round magazine is also available.

The STR-9 Compact features a corrosion-resistant black nitride finish, interchangeable backstrap grips for a custom fit and a 3.8-inch barrel for easy concealment and quick deployment. With an overall length of 6.9 inches and a weight of 24 ounces, the STR-9 is designed for rugged and reliable personal protection without breaking the bank.

The STR-9 Compact’s grip angle is engineered to match the drift-adjustable, three-dot sights for true target alignment and combines with a low-bore axis for reduced muzzle rise to quickly reacquire targets for follow-up shots. The aggressive front and back slide serrations on the slide of the pistol provide you with a firm grasp, with or without gloves. The crisp trigger houses an internal safety for extra security.

Under the frame of the pistol is an accessory rail that accepts a wide variety of pistol lights and laser sights for low-light conditions. The reversible magazine release allows for right- and left-handed shooting. The new STR-9 Compact is available in a variety of configurations including additional backstraps of different sizes and Tritium night sights.
