Springfield Armory is releasing two new .308 Win. M1A rifles, finished in Two-Tone Desert FDE (Flat Dark Earth), that have been developed specifically for sale by Nation’s Best Sports (NBS).

“With the addition of these new NBS-exclusive rifles to the M1A line, fans of this ever-popular rifle have two more options from which to choose,” says Steve Kramer, Springfield Armory’s Vice President of Marketing. “From their expertly applied Cerakote finishes to the matching two-tone FDE stock, these M1A rifles would make a great addition to anyone’s gun collection.”

The semi-auto M1A, is the spiritual successor to the trusted and proven M14 rifle. The semi-automatic M1A, takes the classic design elements of the legendary M1 Garand rifle of World War II and adds features such as a detachable box magazine, other sighting options and rugged reliability. With the hard-hitting punch of the .308 Win. round, the M1A has been a favorite with shooters since its introduction in 1974, and these two new NBS-exclusive variants give M1A fans two more ways to create their ideal rifle.

The two variants offered are an M1A Standard Issue and an M1A Scout Squad rifle. Both guns feature an attractive two-tone Desert FDE finish, and both come with all the other features of their respective models. The M1A Standard has a National Match trigger and front sight, as well as military aperture rear sight and a flash suppressor. The M1A Scout Squad has the same trigger and front sight, but with a different rear sight and a short length of Picatinny rail to add your choice of forward-mounted optic. The barreled action steel of both rifles has a rugged Cerakote finish that complements the matching two-tone FDE composite stock. Both rifles are also equipped with an OD Green cotton sling and come with two magazines.

MSRP for the M1A Standard Issue Two-Tone Desert FDE is $1,847, while the M1A Scout Squad Two-Tone Desert FDE has an MSRP of $1,980. More information on these rifles as well as other products from Springfield Armory is available at springfieldarmory.com
