Smith & Wesson added a new wheelgun to its lineup in 2017, bringing another lightweight concealed-carry option to consumers in the form of the Smith & Wesson Model 360 revolver.

"With the growing popularity of concealed-carry firearms, Smith & Wesson has continued to innovate in the popular J-frame revolver category," said Jan Mladek, general manager for Smith & Wesson and M&P brands. "The Model 360, chambered in .357 Mag. and weighing only 14.9 ounces, is a powerful and easy-to-carry option for those looking for a new concealed-carry sidearm."

The Smith & Wesson Model 360 revolver is built using a frame made from scandium alloy and an unfluted cylinder made from stainless steel. The revolver is completed with the addition of flat-dark-earth-colored combat grips designed to provide users with a sturdy, non-slip surface that ensures control over the gun. The frame and cylinder are finished with a PVD coating that ensures further resistance against corrosion and wear.

The Model 360 is chambered in .357 Mag. and can handle +P cartridges, as well as being able to accommodate .38 Spl. loads. The capacity of the cylinder is 5 rounds, and the gun features a DA/SA operating system with an exposed hammer.

The barrel is constructed from stainless steel and features an overall length of 1.875 inches. The overall size of the revolver measures 6.4 inches. On top of the barrel, users will find a red-ramp front sight, while the rear sight is a fixed-notch groove machined into the top of the scandium-alloy frame.

The Model 360 revolver is the latest addition to the Smith & Wesson J-Frame lineup, a collection of small-framed pocket revolvers developed in 1950 that allow users to fire full-power magnum loads out of a firearm that is easy to conceal and carry. Three different hammer designs are found in the lineup, giving citizens a wide range of options for personal defense.

The suggested retail price on the Smith & Wesson Model 360 revolver is $770.
