Adding a red-dot sight to a defensive pistol is becoming an increasingly popular choice for the armed citizen. A red dot lets you concentrate on the target and is easier to see in low light or for people with less than perfect vision.

However, mounting a red dot on your pistol can be an arduous process. A standard pistol slide will need to be milled to accept a mount for the optic, I you want backup iron sights as well, you’ll need to add suppressor heights which can be seen over the red dot in place of your standard sights.

The new Pro-Cut slides for P229 and P226 9 mm pistols solve this problem. Both of them have stylized relief cuts and XRAY3 Day/Night Sights and are optic-ready with a removable sight plate and come complete with the Romeo1Pro Red-Dot Sight.

P229 Legion RXP Slide

Enhance your target acquisition by converting your P229 with this Legion slide complete with a Romeo1Pro mounted red-dot optic and features suppressor height XRAY3 night sights. This slide is for 9 mm barrels only and is not compatible with .40 S&W, .357 SIG. In addition to this, the Pro-Cut slide for the P229 is only compatible with P229R (accessory rail versions) & M11-A1 frames, and works only with P229 pistols that can accept a factory 13 round magazine.

P226 Legion RXP Slide

Enhance your target acquisition by converting your P226 with this Legion slide complete with a Romeo1Pro-mounted optic featuring suppressor height XRAY3 night sights. The P226 Legion RXP slide includes a 6 MOA red-dot sight and is for 9 mm barrels only and is not compatible with barrels chambered in .40 S&W, .357 SIG or .45 ACP.
