First Look: SIG Sauer Custom Works 1911 Equinox Handgun

SIG Sauer makes a wide variety of 1911 models to fill many different requirements. In addition to making high-quality guns like their line of 1911 pistols, SIG Sauer also has an in-house custom gunsmith shop, SIG Custom Works, which is known for creating unique firearms that redefine the standard for precision engineering and design excellence. Nobody knows SIG Sauer pistols better than the Custom Works gunsmiths, and now they are applying expertise to a new limited edition pistol, the 1911 Equinox Full Size.

The limited edition SIG Custom Works 1911 Equinox Full Size is chambered in .45 ACP and features a stainless steel frame with a Nitron stainless steel slide. The pistol is equipped with custom machined sides to achieve the unique Equinox two-tone finish. The Custom Works 1911 Equinox is equipped with SIGLITE Night Sights along with Hogue classic contour SL G-10 grips. Other exclusive SIG Custom Works features include logo engraving on the slide, a premium Negrini SIG Custom Works case, Custom Works challenge coin, and an official SIG Custom Works Certificate of Authenticity.
