Designed for use on Remington-700-pattern receivers, the new Seekins Precision Rifle DBM magwell allows users to upgrade their bolt-action rifle to take detachable magazines built on the common AICS pattern offered by Magpul and other industry partners.

Rather than waste valuable range time single-feeding rounds from the top of the receiver in a traditional internal-box magazine commonly seen on Remington-700-style precision rifles, this magazine well allows for rapid, trouble-free reloads for all competition and tactical situations, ensuring that shooters can get back in the game with a full complement of ready cartridges without delay.

The Seekins Precision Rifle DBM magwell is machined from durable billet aluminum and features a mil-spec, hard-anodized finish for added ruggedness and durability in any environment. The magazine well fits all rifle stock with a standard M5 inlet and can be used with all short-action Remington 700 receivers, as well as custom rifle receivers with a Remington-700 action footprint. The oversized well allows for easy insertion of all compatible magazines.

Shooters have the ability to build a solid shooting position with this enhanced magwell, thanks to its built-in barricade stop, which allows users to front-load shooting bags for a more-stable shooting position. The barricade also protects the magazine from bumps or added pressure that could contribute to feeding issues. In addition, the magazine well also requires the use of specific-length pillars, and Seekins includes the pillars needed to ensure reliable performance.

Locking AICS-pattern magazines into place is the magwell's ambidextrous magazine release, which is located inside the trigger guard in order to protect against accidental magazine ejections. The release features a textured surface that ensures users can confidently and easily eject a spent magazine.

The suggested retail price on the Seekins Precision Rifle DBM magwell is $179. The company plans to begin shipment of its new magazine well starting in March 2018.
