Ohio-based Raven Concealment Systems has just released a new version of its flagship Perun LC (Light Compatible) strong side OWB (Outside the Waistband) holster for use with Glock G48 and G43X MOS handguns outfitted with a Streamlight TLR 7 pistol-mounted light. The Glock G43X and G48 pistols are part of the Austrian gun company’s carry friendly 9mm slim pistols and are based off of the original Glock G42/G43 models.
The Perun and its light compatible brother are fully ambidextrous and adjustable OWB pancake style holsters. The RCS Perun product line takes the best elements from Raven Concealment System’s iconic Phantom OWB holsters along with their Eidolon IWB/AIWB holster to result in a highly concealable OWB holster. “LC” or Light Compatible versions of the Perun are contoured to be no larger than the light they are designed for and are optimized to make them comfortable for use while sitting down inside a vehicle. Perun holsters are also cut to accommodate the majority of electronic slide mounted red dot optics available today in addition to accommodating suppressor height iron sights that are up to .35-inches tall.
The key to the Perun’s ambidextrous adjustability and body-hugging ability lies in its angled 1.5 inch belt clips. Each RCS Perun or Perun LC ships with three different clips: a right-handed clip with a 10-degree cant, a left-handed clip with a 10-degree cant and an ambidextrous clip with no cant. Each user is able to combine the clips with the holster’s different slots for the ideal positioning on their body.
The new Raven Concealment Systems Perun Light Compatible holster for the Glock G43X/G48 MOS and Streamlight TLR-7 has a starting retail price of $60 and is backed by Raven Concealment System’s lifetime warranty. All RCS gear is made in the United States of America. For more information on other Perun holster versions and light compatibility options, please visit rcsgear.com.
