Premier Body Armor is expanding its line of rifle-rated protection with introduction of the Durus 650 Level III+ Plate, a new plate that provides consistent performance beyond that of traditional AR steel plates. Priced at just $149.99, the Durus 650 Multi-Curve Armor plate is extremely lightweight while still retaining durability under high-threat conditions.

The Durus 650 Level III+ Plate from Premier Body Armor is crafted from specialized armor-grade steel with a Brinell Hardness Number (BHN) of 650 +5, surpassing the durability of traditional abrasion-resistant steels. In addition to this, the Durus 650 Level III+ Plate is designed to effectively stop rifle rounds such as 7.62 NATO and 5.56 M855/SS109. The Durus 650 Level III+ Plate also offers a true multi-curve profile, conforming to the body’s natural shape, reducing fatigue, and ensuring maximum comfort and mobility for an extended duration.

"At Premier Body Armor, we are committed to providing a wide range of products that offer various benefits to our customers,” said Alex Stewart, President of Premier Body Armor. “We already have a wide array of rifle-rated plates to offer our customers and the Durus 650 plates are an incredible addition. We’ve been needing to fill a void in our offering with a steel plate and the Durus 650 is a great fit. For the money, it’s hard to beat a tough, durable steel plate."

The Durus 650 Level III+ Plate is 5mm thick and is backed by a 10-year warranty. MSRP for the plate is $149.99. More information on this plate as well has other protection equipment and gear made by Durus is available at premierbodyarmor.com.
