Outdoor Edge is introducing a new all-purpose, everyday carry knife, the LeHawk. This new compact, all-purpose knife is simple in design, but has the features and performance that an everyday carry knife should have.

The LeHawk is designed by famous knife maker Jerry Hossom, who has been a full-time knife maker since 1997. The LeHawk’s 2.5-inch long Wharncliffe blade has a straight edge that delivers power directly to the cutting edge making it a perfect blade for a variety of cutting tasks. The blade is made from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel with Blackstone coating for additional corrosion resistance.

The blade has been precisely heat-treated and hand-finished shaving-sharp for superior edge retention and performance, and the 57 Rockwell C hardness ensures the blade will retain its sharpness yet still be easy to quickly resharpen. The rubberized thermoplastic rubber (TPR) handle and unique duck head shape provides and firm grip, even when handled with wet or slippery hands.

The LeHawk is just 6.25 inches long and weighs a mere 3.0 ounces, making it a good size for everyday carry and use. The polypropylene sheath has a 360-degree rotating clip that attaches to any belt, pack, flotation or diving vest. The sheath is also compatible with any MOLLE system, allowing for a multitude of carry options. In addition, the sheath quickly converts into a neck knife with the included paracord. When sheathed the knife will also fit easily into a pants pocket, or inside the glovebox of your vehicle.
