Safariland is coming out with a new line of holsters that are specifically designed for the concealed carry market. This new EDC (everyday carry) lineup follows the company's success with retention holsters that are popular with law enforcement agencies and militaries around the world. Now Safariland is using that expertise to expand its everyday carry line with the Schema, a new inside the waistband (IWB) holster.

"Safariland is thoughtfully expanding on our concealment line to offer consumers unparalleled quality and innovation they've come to expect from the brand," said Eric Gasvoda, VP/GM of Duty Gear for Safariland. "Schema is the beginning of the revitalization of our EDC holster line, and I can't wait to get it into the hands of our customers."

The Schema is an right-handed, optics-ready minimalist holster that is designed for subcompact firearms. As the name implies, the Schema has a skeletonized frame with a smaller footprint than traditional IWB offerings for optimal concealability. This new model offers superior functionality with a reinforced mouth, allowing for seamless firearm holstering with reduced chances of unsafe gun handling. The firearm-specific design creates an exact fit for your defensive pistol, which is further secured by Schema’s passive trigger guard retention. The Schema will work with Romeo Zero, RMR CC, Shield RMS, Shield RMS-C, Swampfox Sentinal, Hex Wasp, Holosun 407K, Holosun 507K, J-point, Crimson Trace 1550, or similar optics.

Schema and the company’s new EDC line centers solely around responsible concealed carry. New models will incorporate passive retention, up-to-date fits and EDC versatility that bring new life to Safariland’s lineup of holsters and firearms accessories.
