Mesa Tactical has just expanded the Truckee aluminum shotgun fore-end to fit Beretta 1301 Tactical and 1301 Competition shotguns. Truckee fore-ends are machined from a single piece of aluminum and are designed with lateral rows of M-Lok fore-ends on the bottom, the left and right sides. These industry standard M-Lok slots make it easier to mount tactical accessories, lights, alternative grips and sling mounts to a shotgun. Mesa Tactical also designed these fore-ends to be nearly three inches longer than the standard, polymer, OEM Beretta handguard in order to provide shooters with more handguard space for their support hand.

Mesa Tactical Beretta 1301 Shotgun Truckee Fore-end Features

  • Fore-end machined from a single piece of aluminum and use high-temperature, glass-filled nylon end caps for durability.
  • Industry standard M-Lok slots make attaching accessories like lights, slings and grips easy
  • Truckee fore-end does not use small screws that could fall out and be lost
  • No tools required for installation or removal
  • Fits Beretta 1301 Tactical and 1301 Competition models
  • Manufactured in the USA and include a lifetime warranty
  • Black anodized aluminum finish

The Beretta 1301 series is Beretta’s premium semi-automatic hard use shotgun, available in both tactical and competition models. These shotguns are built with the company’s premium steel alloy barrels and incorporate the Blink gas system to cycle a wide variety of loads.

The new Mesa Tactical Truckee M-Lok fore-ends for the Beretta 1301 semi-automatic shotgun join Mesa Tactical’s current lineup for other shotguns including the Benelli M4, Benelli M2, Mossberg 930, Mossberg 940, Remington Tac-14, Remington Tac-13, Remington V3 and Remington 870. Retail pricing for the Beretta 1301 Truckee fore-end starts at $159.95. To learn more, please visit mesatactical.com.

New Pistol Suppressors for 2025

We hear you (pun intended)! This year, we are reporting manufacturer’s sound-reduction rating where available. Now, not every manufacturer makes that information publicly available, so you’ll see a fair number of “N/As” where no decibel-reduction numbers were provided, but rest assured that, despite what you might think, the noise-reduction rating is one of the least important factors when choosing a new suppressor (more on that in a future article).
