Magpul DT Stock

Magpul Industries has just launched a new carbine stock for AR-15 pattern firearms, the Magpul DT Carbine Stock. DT stands for “Dual Tension” which is a reference to the locking mechanism that Magpul is debuting in its new carbine stock. More specifically, this mechanism was designed to provide more tension against the carbine’s receiver extension (also known as the buffer tube) without the need to use a second locking lever. As a result, the stock has increased durability and stablity, without the need for additional parts. The Magpul DT Carbine Stock is still easily adjustable, just like all other stocks in Magpul’s line up, and this new unit also takes a lot of its design cues from Magpul’s classic CTR and SL stocks.

The DT Stock was created to match the SL family’s profile while also matching the optimized curvature of the CTR’s line. The stock also compatible with accessories like the CTR removable cheek riser. The adjustment lever on the new DT Carbine Stock is ambidextrous, it includes an anti-rotation quick detach sling mount slot and a 1 ¼ inch footman’s loop. The Magpul DT Carbine Stock is available in black, flat dark earth or olive drab green and is designed for a mil-spec diameter receiver extension, which has a slightly smaller diameter than commercial receiver extensions.

Magpul DT Carbine Stock Mil-Spec Features:

  • New length of pull adjustment Dual Tension (DT) locking system improves ease of adjustment while securing length of pull placement, limiting unnecessary movement and improved durability
  • Ambidextrous adjustment lever
  • Newly designed, non-slip butt pad
  • For sling mounting, there is an ambidextrous, rotation-limiting QD sling mount and a 1.25 inch footman’s loop
  • Compatible with CTR Cheek Risers

The new Magpul DT Carbine Stock has a retail price of $64.95. Please visit magpul.com to learn more about this new stock and other products from Magpul Industries.
