Gritr Gear just announced the product launch of its new Kydex Hook and Loop Insert. These thick Kydex plates are lined with hooks (the rough side of hook-and-loop surfaces) with the intention to be adhered to compatible soft-sided surfaces found in tactical gear bags from brands such as Mission First, ESS, Viktos and Vertx. The Gritr-engineered plates are laid out with a variety of patterns and holes and accept hardware from gear cases, sheaths or holsters. Once sturdy attached to the “soft” Velcro-style surfaces, the idea is for the Gritr Kydex Hook and Loop inserts to allow for a seamless layout and organization of that gear bag.

Gritr Kydex Hook and Loop Insert Features

  • Unique hole pattern and panel sizes (small/medium/large) provide modularity and cater to different types of gear or equipment
  • Large panels (5x5 inch) are ideal for mounting OWB handgun holsters; small (3.5x3.5 inch) and medium (3.5x5 inch) panels are perfect for lighter gear like magazine carriers and tourniquet holders
  • The back of the panel features a hook lining, enabling compatibility with hook-and-loop-lined surfaces for secure attachment
  • Crafted from .08-inch US Kydex with high-quality adhesive, eyelets, and machine-cut precision for long-lasting durability
  • Designed for mounting most OWB bolsters, but also ideal for mag carriers, knife sheaths, flashlight holders, TQ carriers, etc.
  • Compatible with Gritr OWB holsters and most other OWB holsters for a secure fit
  • Designed specifically to securely mount holsters and other accessories inside the most common concealed carry bags and packs
  • Can mount gear to any surface with soft loop material, expanding your carrying options
  • Each panel comes with screws, slotted posts, washers and rubber bushings for easy installation

Cost varies by the specific panel and its size, with pricing starting at $14.99. Visit gritrgear.com to learn more.
