The new JK HD Minimalist is machined from 17-4 heat-treated stainless-steel and is finished with black nitride. JK Armament designed the HD Minimalist to only measure 1 inch in length and weigh only 2.2 ounces. These muzzle devices can be useful for rapid removal of JK Armament 155 model silencers and any other ASR-compatible mounts such as the JK Armament Taper Mount. Models are available for the two most common thread pitch patterns in the firearms industry, ½x28 tpi or ⅝x24 tpi in order to cover all common caliber diameters ranging from .22 caliber, 9mm/.35-caliber, on up to .30- and .45-caliber suppressors. As small as the muzzle device is, it still includes wrench flats on the front and rear for easier installation. The front of the JK Armament HD Minimalist is also tapered to protect it from excessive carbon fouling and to offer a precise and secure mounting surface for a compatible silencer.
