Hornady HIT Target Impact Indicator

New from Hornady is the HIT Target Impact Indicator, designed for use with steel targets at extended ranges. This bright, easy to see light easily attaches to most target stands, not the target itself, using the included elastic band. The light from the hit indicator is visible to the naked eye from over 1,000 yards away, giving you instant feedback on your marksmanship and enhancing your shooting experience.

While the "smack" of a bullet into a steel target gives you an audio signal your shot was successful, it can take some time for that sound to make its way back to the shooter, especially at longer ranges. The movement of the target on impact and the splash from when the bullet disintegrates against the steel can also register a hit, but those can be hard to see and unreliable hit indicators.

Equipped with a sensitive accelerometer, the HIT Impact Indicator detects bullet vibrations for precise activation and fewer false alarms. Every steel target that has a HIT Indicator will register impacts accurately, regardless of caliber. When a target with a HIT Impact Indicator receives a hit, the Indicator blinks out "H-I-T" in Morse code, adding an extra layer of excitement to your shooting sessions.

The HIT Indicator is powered by a micro-USB rechargeable battery, ensures you're always ready for action. Conveniently recharge it in your vehicle or at the range—no need to worry about running out of batteries.

Hornady New HIT Target Impact Indicator Features:

  • Visible up to 1,000+ yards (weather-dependent)
  • Light indicates bullet impact on distant steel targets
  • Easily attaches to most stands with included elastic band
  • Rechargeable using included micro-USB cable
  • Morse code "H-I-T" blinks for impact distinction •••• •• −
  • Accelerometer detects bullet vibrations for activation.

MSRP for the HIT Target Impact Indicator is $17.99 for a two-pack of indicators, $26 for a five pack and $342 for a 50-pack. Visit hornady.com for more information on the HIT Target Impact Indicator and other products from Hornady.
