Appendix Inside the Waistband holsters (AIWB for short) have become the concealed carry method of choice for many of America’s gun owners. AIWB carry stirs up a lot of passion among gun owners: Some gun owners insist that conventional, strong-side, inside-the-waistband carry (IWB) is better, while others prefer a cross-draw holster suits their needs the best.

For 2019, Galco Gunleather introduces the Paragon, a new holster that designed to be used just about anywhere on your waistline. The Paragon has a Kydex holster body, offering comfortable carry, secure retention, a fast draw and easy return to holster. Also included in the Paragon is an optional claw-type stabilizing wing, ideal for people who find a stabilizer to be useful when carrying AIWB.

Dual tuckable belt clips ride in slots fore and aft of the gun body, allowing adjustment for ride height and carry angle, and twin tension units allow easy adjustment of the draw stroke. The Paragon is fully ambidextrous:  Raised sweat guards on both sides of the handgun protect the wearer’s body from the rough edges on their gun and help with a smooth and safe return to holster.

The Paragon ships with Galco’s patent-pending UniClip belt clips concealment, stability and easy on-off capability, and the holster works well with either a single or dual clips. As an optional add-on, Galco’s Ultimate Stealth belt clips are available for even deeper concealment.

The Paragon is initially available for selected models of Glock and Smith & Wesson pistols. MSRP on the Paragon is $79.99, and more information is available at galcogunleather.com.
