DNT ThermaNight TNC225R Optic

DNT Optics (Day Night Technologies) is coming out with the ThermNight TNC225R optic, the first compact optic package capable of operating in daytime, nighttime and thermal modes. The ThermNight scope combines thermal and day/night capabilities in one optic and adds in an affordable MSRP. The TNC225R also features laser ranging capabilities, a picture-in-picture display and multiple reticle options to suit user preferences.

The Thermnight TNC225R multispectral scope features 3-12X thermal and 5-20X day/night display capabilities, allowing seamless toggling between thermal and day/night modes at the push of a button. The optic runs on 18650 lithium batteries and includes 32GB of internal storage for videos that can transferred either via USB-C or via a dedicated app.

There is a zero-MOA Picatinny mount on the bottom to attach the TNC225R to your rifle. The built-in rangefinder enables the shooter to accurately measure target distance with the push of a button providing superior ranging capabilities compared to some traditional thermal optics, which lack the detail and depth required for effective target range estimation. The ThermNight also includes an internal ballistic calculator that can factor in high-angle shooting and accept user-specific load data. The display can also present an icon for the required hold-overs or re-zero internally for the correct point-of-aim/point-of-impact. The ballistics computer ties in with the free mobile app that is available for both the Android and iPhone platforms.
