Davidson’s is one of the nation’s top firearms wholesalers, and now it has collaborated with Ruger to launch an exclusive new rifle. The new Davidson’s Ruger Mini-14 Tactical is chambered in 300 BLK and features a Samson side-folding stock in a matte stainless finish to match the receiver and barrel of the rifle.
“Davidson’s is a decades-long partner with Ruger, and we have made hundreds of exclusives with them”, said Paul Dickson, Sr. Merchandising Manager at Davidson’s. “They have always been eager to partner with us on bringing unique firearms to the market over the years and we’re excited to introduce this one.”
The 300 BLK cartridge is a favorite among rifle shooters who prefer suppressors. As a result, the included flash suppressor is removable to accommodate a suppressor, and the 16.5-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel is threaded 1/2x28 tpi.
Other standard features include a heat shield, protected blade front sight, ghost ring rear aperture sight, a section of Picatinny rail and sling swivels installed front and rear. Integral scope mounts are machined directly on the solid steel receiver to provide a stable mounting surface for the included set of 1-inch scope rings. End users may choose instead to use the Picatinny rail attachment to mount their choice of optics. Two 20-round nickel-teflon steel magazines are included.
The only other Mini-14 in 300 AAC Blackout is a standard Ruger catalog offering that has a fixed, black-synthetic stock. The Samson side-folding stock increases not only the ease of transportation and storage, but in combination with the 16.5-inch barrel makes this a very handy Mini-14 and the looks alone will make it a standout among anyone’s collection.
