Centurion Arms V2 AR-15 Bolt

Centurion Arms has recently launched a new drop-in aftermarket bolt for 5.56 NATO AR-15s, the new Centurion Arms V2 Bolt. This enhanced AR-15 rifle bolt counts on re-designed surfaces and critical dimensions that still conform to the AR-15 bolt’s original physical dimensions in order to increase reliability and bolt longevity on 5.56 NATO AR-15 pattern firearms. The V2 accomplishes this by tweaking the bolt body and face profile to create a larger radius between the bolt’s lugs and the bolt’s body, which allows operating pressures to be spread over a larger surface area and reduces stress and wear on the AR bolt lug. In addition to improved dimensions, the Centurion Arms also designed the V2 with dual ejectors which help bounce spent brass off the bolt face more vigorously to ensure more reliable ejection, especially on rifles or carbines that are being used with suppressors. Lastly, this aids brass ejection for overgassed carbines as well.

The new Centurion Arms V2 AR-15 bolt is backward-compatible with standard AR-15 spec bolt carriers and all lugs on the Centurion V2 bolt face conform to the original dimensions in order for the V2 to be compatible with any standard AR-15 patter barrel extension, so it can be considered a drop in part that requires no gunsmithing. In addition to being fully compatible with existing standard parts, the Centurion Arms V2 bolt uses standard gas rings, standard extractors and standard Colt OEM extractor springs. Similarly, the V2 does not use any proprietary firing pins or cam pins, so standard units made to the normal specifications are also compatible.

The new Centurion Arms V2 5.56 NATO AR-15 bolt has a standard retail price of $125. To learn more about it or other AR-15 parts, accessories or complete firearms offered by Centurion Arms, please visit the company's website at centurionarms.com.
