Bushnell Optics has just released an MOA version of the popular high-performance Bushnell Match Pro ED 5-30x56mm riflescope, which was originally calibrated in mil-radians.

“We heard the requests loud and clear and knew it was time to bring out an MOA version of the Match Pro ED riflescope,” said Travis Overfelt, Engineer and Product Manager for Competition and Tactical Optics at Bushnell. “In doing so, we modified the reticle and turrets to accommodate MOA. The Deploy MOA 2 reticle has a theme like the Deploy MIL 2 reticle, but the turrets are in ¼-MOA clicks and the elevation turret has an extra row of numerals to help shooters keep track of their dial into the second revolution up from zero.”

The primary difference between the new Bushnell Match Pro ED MOA 5-30x56mm and the original version is the MOA-based grid reticle inside the optic, along with ¼-MOA per click turrets instead of the original scope’s mil-based grid reticle and .1-MRAD click values. It still has the same 34mm diameter main tube which, in the case of the MOA version, gives the shooter 100 MOA of total elevation adjustment and 50 MOA in windage adjustments. These first focal plane riflescopes are outfitted with Bushnell's premium ED coated (extreme low dispersion) glass along with its proprietary EXO barrier coating for additional durability against the elements. All Bushnell Match Pro ED riflescopes feature a glass etched illuminated reticle with 11 different brightness settings and calibrated grids, which is handy for shooting precision rifle or tactical rifle competitions. With grid reticles, shooters are able to make precise holdovers on the fly without needing to dial their turrets.
