The Benelli Lupo, introduced just a year ago, is now offered in three additional calibers—6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win. and .243 Win.—joining the three original calibers of .30-06 Springfield, .300 Win. Mag. and .270 Win.

The added Lupo rifles from Benelli are built with the same innovative features as the originals. Benelli has seven patents for the Lupo that provides for a truly customized fit and top performance. The rifle features a chassis-style construction and is built on an alloy lower receiver, fitted with a synthetic stock and forend. The stock incorporates Benelli's patented Progressive Comfort recoil-reducing system and Combtech cheek pad for enhanced comfort while shooting.

The Benelli Lupo is capable of repeatable, consistent, sub-MOA accuracy, thanks to a precision CRIO-treated and free-floating barrel that is securely bedded (steel-to-steel) into the alloy chassis receiver. The rifle also has an adjustable trigger and an innovative barrel attachment system that creates an unaltered chamber and optimal alignment on every gun.

The Benelli Lupo’s design also features modular adjustability to improve the fit between shooter and rifle. The chassis-style configuration has a separate stock, receiver and forend that allow the shooter to customize the Lupo to one of 12 drop-and-cast positions using the included shims, and further fit adjustments can be made with included LOP spacers. The fit can also be further customized and expanded to 36 positions by using optional combs. The finger reach to the trigger is also adjustable by using the included spacers that can be placed between the receiver and the stock. Additional fit choices include two raised cheek pad styles and one optional length butt pad.

The Benelli Lupo uses a patented, built-in Progressive Comfort system and a Combtech cheek pad to help control recoil. A two-position, tang-mounted safety is ambidextrous, and the Airtouch Grip surfaces provide a safe and firm hold on the rifle. A threaded muzzle (5/8 x 24 thread) gives the option of adding a muzzle brake or suppressor. The short bolt throw easily chambers and ejects rounds for quick and smooth follow-up shots.

MSRP for the Lupo is is $1,699, and more information on the Lupo and other products from Benelli is available at benelliusa.com
