Anderson Manufacturing has just unveiled their next generation of affordable AR-10 pattern rifles, the AM-10 Gen 2 series, during the 2022 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits event in Houston, TX.
The Anderson Manufacturing AM-10 Gen 2 series rifles are all chambered in .308 Win. and are designed to perform while also remaining affordable. Anderson Manufacturing offers all manners of parts for these guns, allowing shooters to pick and choose what they need in order to customize their own builds.
Anderson Manufacturing is launching this generation of .308 Winchester rifles by offering shooters three different complete rifle configurations: The AM-10 Ranger, AM-10 Battle Rifle, and the AM-10 Marksman XL.
The AM-10 Ranger comes standard with the following features:
- 18 inch .308 Win. barrel
- Mid-length gas system
- 15 inch M-Lok Handguard
- Magpul carbine buttstock
- Magpul K2 pistol grip
- 2-Stage trigger system
The AM-10 Battle Rifle comes standard with the following features:
- 16 inch .308 Win. barrel
- Mid-length gas system
- 15 inch M-Lok handguard
- Magpul carbine buttstock
- Magpul K2 pistol grip
The AM-10 Marksman XL comes standard with the following features:
- 20 inch .308 Win. barrel
- Rifle-length gas system
- 15 inch M-lok handguard
- Magpul PRS lite buttstock
- Magpul K2 pistol grip
- 2-Stage trigger system
Features that are common to all AM-10 Gen 2 rifles include:
- Forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers with type 3 hard anodizing
- Nitrided bolt carrier made of 8620 steel; bolt is made of 9310 steel
- 4150 chrome-moly vanadium barrels with 1:10-inch rifling twist
- Standard charging handles
- Six position receiver extensions
- Enhanced flared magwells
