I've been a fan of Crossbreed Holsters for a long time. Like, since darn near the beginning. I had a SuperTuck for a Smith & Wesson SW99 back in the mid-2000s, and absolutely loved it for deep concealment and long-term carry - it was very comfortable to wear all day long.

But it took time to put on. The twin clips that made it carry even bulky guns easy required a bit of finesse when getting the holster ready to wear. The very design that made it so comfortable and easy to conceal made it more difficult to use - first find the optimal place on the belt line (which varies according to which pair of pants one wears from day to day), then position the holster, then feed the belt through... Well, it was a heck of a lot quicker to toss a small .380 into a pocket holster and call it a day.

Well, the smart engineers at Crossbreed have come up with something to appease the lazy guys like me. The Freedom Carry holster offers the same retention and concealability as the SuperTuck, but with one clip rather than two. It may not seem like much of a change, but the difference in getting the holster on - and off - the belt is astonishing. The holster carries quite well and provides excellent concealment as well.

Best of all, the MSRP is an affordable $64.50 in the standard (black leather) configuration. Other options are available, including premium cowhide and horsehide, as well as options for accessories like weaponlights.
