Whether heading to the range for some carbine practice or hitting a 3-gun match, having a small, handy bag for carrying necessary gear is helpful. Sometimes the full range bag is impractical for one reason or another, so having a second option for light duty or travel makes good sense.

5.11 Tactical's 4-Banger bag is just such an option. It contains a generous-size, zippered interior pocket for eye and ear protection, small first aid kit, spare magazines and other essential gear as well as four individually covered AR-15-style magazine slots accessible through velcro closures. Attach a shotshell holder to the MOLLE straps on the outside and this would make a fine, albeit minimalist, 3-gun pouch indeedwith room for four AR-15 magazines and four pistol magazines.

Available in four different color options (for when you simply must match) and having a shoulder strap with stabilizer, the 4-Banger also features two small front pockets for additional storage. There's an area in the back of the bag that can be used to secure a concealed-carry pistol. It is coated for water resistance, contains drainage holes inside the main compartment and has molded zipper pulls for fast access even when wearing gloves. It's a well-thought-out piece of gear for its dedicated purpose.

MSRP: $69.99.
