Pow'RBall ammunition, available from Cor-Bon, is basically a lead-core bullet with a hollow point and a standard jacket, with one small difference—a round, polymer ball that fills the hollow point and caps the bullet nose. Pow'RBall ammo has a reasonably good reputation for reliable feeding in an assortment of firearms and offers a good level of terminal performance. This bullet with its polymer nose cap is, in a way, the forerunner to the Hornady line of Critical Defense ammunition. Moderate penetration and wide expansion are the hallmarks of the Pow'RBall design. A standard-pressure version of this load is also available in .45 ACP.
